I wanted to share a few of my more recent and favorite discoveries as far as food and home products go.
*** Method Dish Soap
- Yummy Clementine scent
- Method tends to be fairly eco and health friendly
- Pretty cost effective - especially since I got this on clearance at Target
- Overall a better choice than the Dawn I had been using (and still have some to use up)
*** Cascadian Farms Granola Bars and Archer Farms Fruit Strips
- Both are organic and have pretty basic and healthy ingredients
- Both are VERY tasty for "health food"
- Also pretty inexpensive at Target
- My kids like them too!
*** Angie's Carmel Kettle Corn
- Um, this is just stinkin' delicious. I have to be careful not to eat the whole bag in one sitting.
- I tried it as a sample at Target and had to grab a bag right away. Target knows a sucker when they see one coming. :)
***Minute Brown Rice
- While certainly not as healthy as a regular brown or wild rice would be, it sure is better than the white Minute rice I had been getting.
- I am fairly new to liking rice at all and this really tastes pretty darn good. For rice.
*** Planters Peanut Butter
- Yes, I know it is still PB of the unhealthier kind. (Not organic or natural and has added sugars.) But I tried this when it first came out and loved it! It is really delish! I think it is by far my fav PB now. I never thought I would stray from my trusty Jif. :)
- I will keep searching for a PB that is healthier and that my family all enjoy too. But until then, this is the winner in our house.
Please share some of your recent favorite things. :)
Hey there, Melissa! I so enjoy reading your posts here. Watch out for Method dish soap coupons in the Sunday paper. They usually have them at $1.50 off. Combine that with the clearance price at Target (or a good sale price at Publix) and you can get that lovely soap for literally pennies. We use either Skippy Natural creamy peanut butter or Jif Natural. Both are very good and the kids never noticed a switch a few years ago. Love you!
